About Charles Phillips
Charles E. Phillips serves as the Chief Executive Officer of New York-based Infor, the world’s third largest business software enterprise. Infor has 13,000 employees in 164 countries and amasses $3 billion in annual revenue. Charles E. Phillips previously spent over seven years with Oracle Corporation, where he served as President and as a member of the Board of Directors. He participated in the acquisition of more than 70 companies and assisted in tripling Oracle’s size.
Charles E. Phillips also serves on the Board of Directors for Phillips Charitable Organizations (PCO). He created PCO to assist wounded veterans, single-parent families, and underserved young people studying engineering. Phillips and his fellow board members pay for PCO’s administrative costs and seek to address urgent, short-term needs. He also serves on the Boards of a number of nonprofits and public companies, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, the American Museum of Natural History, and Viacom Corporation. He assists several of his alma maters in a similar capacity.
Charles E. Phillips earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the United States Air Force Academy. After serving in the Marine Corps, he enrolled in New York Law School, where he completed a JD. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Hampton University.
