Infor CEO’s Foundation Works with Parents, Students, and Veterans

Information technology executive Charles Phillips, the CEO of leading business software solutions company Infor since 2010, is also a dedicated philanthropist who works to improve the greater New York City area community. As the founder of Phillips Charitable Organizations, Mr. Phillips assists struggling single parents, injured military veterans, and students dedicated to pursuing careers in engineering.

The foundation directly distributes funds to individuals with an urgent need. Recent grantees include a single mother in Connecticut who earns her living as a bus driver. Her hour-long commute to work had placed a serious strain on her finances; at the same time, she had been diagnosed with lupus and needed a hip replacement. The foundation provided the money necessary for her to relocate to a safe neighborhood within an easier commuting distance to her workplace.

Another grant assisted an Air Force veteran and single mother who never received her requested child support payments. The foundation stepped forward to assist her with the money necessary to pay rent and school-related costs for her teenage children.

Finally, after the recent tragic destruction leveled on the New York area by Super Storm Sandy, the foundation contributed thousands of dollars to relief efforts.

Charles E. Phillips and his foundation continue to seek meaningful ways of helping people get their lives back on track and regain their self-sufficiency. For more information, visit
